Interviewed Personas

  • “I wish as a Child my Parents spent more time with me, I understand that growing up they had work, but oftentimes I feel like bonding with a kid shouldn't revolve around a schedule”

    James Bearman

  • “As a Parent, I really want my kids to get off their ipads and explore more of Nature itself. I honestly wish they were more active like when I was a kid, documenting my experiences and having show and tell with my parents after their long days”

    Natasha Jackson

  • “I wish I could show my stuff to my Mama, I do a lot of stuff everyday. I know she likes turtles”

    Jacob Kon (Child)

  • “I want to push my child to be more inclusive and thoughtful of their lives, but I don't want them to be ingrained within Social Media. I wish there was a platform that could host a family specific experience”

    Andrew Lewis

"Let's Create a More Colorful Childhood for Our Children"

Reflection

Despite an early challenge when one of our team members had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, we pivoted effectively during the hackathon, focusing on crafting a hi-fi working prototype instead of a fully developed app. With limited time, we prioritized solidifying a strong, impactful idea by leveraging resources and refining our design approach to blend visual hierarchy with clarity tailored to our unique judges, Children Judges! The experience was both fun and thought-provoking, showcasing what’s possible within a weekend.

Our efforts paid off with recognition, including being featured on the UXA Instagram page, a Nomination for the Kid’s Award, and having our team highlighted in future event campaigns.
