Specifications - External
The Task at hand, the display that will be at the forefront of the exhibition

Dead zones?
3 Different Displays
Consideration of
Display Over-Bleed?
BitRate and Quality Assurance?
Packaging of Assets for the unique display - do we split dead zones for more Flexibility and precision on this rush order?
High Resolution
Intermediate Iterations
These process pictures and video drove the final design, specifically how they turned out and became malleable around the strucutre
Didn’t Flow Around the Entrance way
Too High
Too Small, despite the assets being collaged as one long synchronous rain bleed
Too Slow

Too Compact
Too Many Variables
Too Uniformed of a drip
Fidelity of the piece would drop!
Test of Rapid A.I. Generation
The premise of this stage was to evaluate all options and ideate quickly to understand if visions could be executed or not, here the demonstration of AI as a substitute, as of March 2025, proved to be infeasible
Just WTF?
Deadzone Bounds are off
Doesn’t Follow artwork style
480p vs 8k display...
Prompt Engineering?
Specifications - Internal
The premise of this stage was to understand how to design in harmony of the facade on the outside and pair it with the internal displays, the actual commercial based products, by understanding the content and framing of the frames, it will ensure synced vision
How to minimize over exposure of the interior displays
Would the Infinity Mirror extend the effect?
How would the fluidity aspect carry over?
Would it be feasible to do a presentation slide-through?

Added Plastic and Shadow Effect
The premise of this stage was to applicate the texture of how the motion would work and bring it more to life and in a 3D drooling texture, this was the make or break component that made Lex’s Artwork be one of the best at Art Basel
Focused Details that enhances quality and perception
the slight blur of the plastic and shadow reflected on a Samsung monitor provides just enough depth field
Final Set Up
The premise of this stage was to understand where and when the animation/motion will end, the focus of setting a baseline for all the animations, accounting mainly the entrance way
Small Gradual Liquid Movement
Adaptable around the entrance frame
Concept Rendering
Slow + Bold
Minimal Over and Under Exposure
